Google is testing technologies that would allow users to never need a password again. This would attract more people to browse via the chrome browser. This shows the users their dedication to Internet security.

Passwords being unnecessary would scare me on one hand. But on the other hand, I would like to not have to remember about 8 different passwords for all of my profiles. If this works, it could be a great innovation.

If Google is able to successfully accomplish this, I feel that most users will be more than happy. With all of the passwords needed to be remembered for most personal sites, Google could be the first to eliminate this mass collection problem.

Exactly right. Websites are becoming more burdensome to become a member of due to new usernames/passwords and I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets frustrated when I have to try 5 or 6 times to get my password correct.

If Google is able do this successfully, they should attract people to Google Chrome who might have used other Internet browsers.

Although this does seem promising, it would be up to many different factions to co-operate with Google. Who wouldn't love a password free life though, lets hope the future allows this or something similar to happen.
