It is important to think before putting any personal information on the internet. Although it is shocking that such a large network was hacked, Twitter seems to be taking good precautions and informing their users.

It really is unbelievable how much trust society has in many of these Social Networking sites. Now, it is seemingly so easy for hackers to get the information that people had entrusted in these sites.

This should not come as a surprise in today's technology advanced society. Social media has become so popular and so much information is transferred through the various mediums, there are certainly people who try to take advantage of that. Nothing is safe

This just proves how we all need secure passwords, and use different passwords for various internet accounts. It is easier than we thought for our information to be stolen. Therefore, databases need to step up their security.

This article shows how important it is to have secure passwords, and how easy it is for our information to stolen on the internet and sold for money. Twitter and Java both need to be more careful and wary of hackers.

Although we often think of our internet accounts as invulnerable and disregard the possibility that they could be hacked, this article proves just how careful we must be with the internet. It is a very smart idea of set a different password for every site

Since twitter is such a popular form of social media, this is definitely a huge point of concern. This shows that although databases can be extremely helpful, they can also be inconsistent and unreliable.

It's always shocking to see a large number of users being hacked on any website, let alone social media ones. That being said, I'm glad Twitter is working alongside the federal government to solve this and prevent this from happening again.

This was not surprising to read. It's scary to think if someone could hack my twitter account what other things of greater importance could be hacked into? Being informed about being hacked is extremely important when there are so many Internet users now.

I think the bottom line is nothing is safe on the internet anymore. Given how much we rely on the internet and how much content is put out there, it really is a scary thought that people can keep finding new ways to steal your information.

This article gives a whole new outlook on social media. We are literally feeding so much information to these networks and are unaware where this information is being stored or shared. It makes you think twice of the actually privacy of your account.
